July is National Grilling Month!

July is officially National Grilling Month, marking the start of the summer BBQ season. Not that you’d need to be told--on July 4th the tantalizing smell of grilled steaks, hamburgers, chicken, and hot dogs floats through almost every neighborhood and park in the country!

For the true BBQ enthusiast, nothing but the best grilling tools will do. Below are a list of grilling essentials to help get the most out of National Grilling Month, whether you’re looking for barbecue-related promotional items or simply want to upgrade your existing grilling equipment.

Portable Grills

While full-size grills are definitely grilling essentials, they’re a little difficult to toss into the back of the car for a trip to the beach or tailgating party. These small, portable grills are designed for just such occasions, as well as making great camping tools.

  • The Mesa Portable BBQ Set comes with rubber-coated handles and a latching lid for easy transportation. Two side handles allow you to adjust the grate height so you can cook at just the right temperature. The entire grill collapses down to the size of a briefcase when not in use.
  • The Coleman Party Ball Charcoal Grill comes with a polyester carrying case that fits over the wood handle. Adjustable ventilation holes allow you to stoke the fire, while the grate includes a folding handle should you need to add more charcoal.
  • Charcoal grilling is great, of course, but propane can be more convenient when you’re grilling away from home. The Coleman Roadtrip Instastart Propane Party Grill comes in a smart carrying case. Just connect it to a propane cylinder (not included), hit the Instastart™ push-button ignition and you’re ready to grill. Two elastic straps on the bottom of the carrying bag can hold two 16.4 ounce propane cylinders.

The Best Grilling Tools

Just as a surgeon needs the right medical tools, so too does a skilled griller need the best grilling sets. These grilling tools are high-quality gifts for clients and employees who love to grill (or a nice treat for yourself--you’re worth it).

  • The Sportula BBQ Spatula comes with a “License to Grill” design laser cut through the heavy-duty stainless steel blade. If you’re purchasing the spatula as a promotional gift, a personalized graphic is easily added to the brass-riveted, hard maple handle. An integrated bottle opener at the end of the handle adds the finishing touch to this high-end grilling tool.
  • The Grill Master 5pc Bamboo BBQ Set includes five premium grilling tools, all in a functional and decorative bamboo case. The set includes stainless steel, bamboo handled tongs, knife, fork, spatula, and basting brush.
  • The Digital BBQ Fork allows you to quickly check the temperature of the meat you're grilling and for desired doneness. Simply press the MEAT button to select Beef, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, or Turkey, then press the TASTE button to set cooking level.

Additional Grilling Essentials

Tools and a good grill are all you need to BBQ, but that doesn’t mean they’re the only grilling essentials. Other items you might need for a perfect day of grilling include:

  • The BBQ Now Apron and 7-Piece BBQ Set includes a durable apron with adjustable back and neck straps and enough pockets for the accompanying grilling tools, which include a spatula, fork, tongs, oven mitt, and salt and pepper shaker.
  • The Silicone Grilling Mitt shields your hand from grill flames. Its long length makes the mitt perfect for grilling, as the silicon can withstand temperatures up to 400°F.
  • Not everything that goes on the grill is meat. The Grill Basket for Veggies and Sides is a stainless steel basket for easy cooking of sliced veggies and similar side dishes.
  • The Charcoal Chimney makes lighting charcoal briquettes fast and easy, making it one of the most useful grilling essentials.
